Air Filters, Fuel Filters, and Cabin Filters need to be inspected and replaced at the recommended mileage requirements to insure your vehicle performs at the optimum performance level. Dirty and/or plugged air filters will cause a loss of performance and fuel mileage. Fuel filters can become restrictive and cause performance problems and may also lead to fuel pumps overheating which can lead to fuel pump failure. A common practice is to replace fuel filters every 12,000 miles.
